A child who cannot see the blackboard, hear the teacher or concentrate through toothache cannot learn, however hard they try. Before the start of term, the hospital opened its doors for a free medical camp for schoolchildren.
Every child received a free consultation covering general medical examination, growth monitoring with height, weight and body mass index, vision screening, hearing screening, skin health screening, dental screening, paediatric review, and nutrition assessment and counselling.
