Our newborn unit cares for babies who need extra support after birth, including premature babies, low-birth-weight babies and newborns with infection, jaundice or breathing difficulty.
Paediatricians and specially trained nurses provide warmth, feeding support, phototherapy, oxygen therapy and close monitoring, while keeping mothers involved in their babies' care.

How to access this service
Babies born at the hospital are admitted directly from the labour ward. Referrals from other facilities are accepted at any time; please call ahead so we can prepare.
